King Abdulaziz University (KAU) was founded in 1967 in Saudi Arabia. There are more than 37,000 students enrolled in 12 faculties including: Faculty of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Arts & Humanities, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Environmental Designs, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Faculty of Earth Sciences, Faculty of Marine Sciences,             Faculty of Dentistry Faculty of Meteorology and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology. Established initially as a private university by a group of businessmen in 1974, King Abdulaziz University was converted to a public university by a resolution of the Council Ministers of Saudi Arabia. In 2016, it was ranked the top Arab university by Times Higher Education.
